**What is the Dual Degree room temperature freezing technology used in Degreve?

·       Degreve utilizes a unique freezing technology where the materials (not water) used in their products freeze at different temperatures. This approach provides the most effective and comfortable sensation for the neck and other body parts without needing water's freezing temperature to activate them.

·       The cooling temperatures in Degreve Neck Care have been verified for both comfort and safety. The cervical spine, located at the back of the neck, requires quick cooling due to frequent stress and heat, so a temperature of 57°F (14°C) is used for optimal effectiveness. For the carotid artery on the side of the neck, which is more temperature-sensitive, a temperature of 68°F (20°C) is applied to ensure safety and prolonged cooling.

FAQ’s

1.     Is there condensation? 

All of Degreve's cooling products use room-temperature cooling technology, resulting in minimal condensation compared to regular ice, providing a comfortable experience.  However, in exceptional cases with high temperatures or humidity, some condensation may occur.

2.     What is the cooling time for the ThermoPad Supercharger?

For the ThermoPad, we recommend cooling the melted ThermoPad in the freezer for 50-60 minutes for complete cooling.

In ice water, it will cool completely within 30 minutes.

In a portable (cooling) charging station (PCS) with a fully frozen Supercharger, cooling will occur within 50-60 minutes.

For the Supercharger:  The Supercharger, which is the refrigerant, can only be cooled in the freezer and takes about 3 hours to cool completely after being placed in the portable charging station. If you freeze the Supercharger in the portable cooling case (PCS) with its double-insulation case, it will take longer due to the patented double-insulation feature, so it's recommended to place it in the freezer before use.

3.     Can I wear it around my neck while exercising?

Degreve’s Neck Care is designed in collaboration with ergonomic designers from Italy to stay secure and stable even during movement.  However, for exercises involving frequent neck movement, the skin may come into contact with the edges of the ThermoPad, potentially causing minor discomfort depending on skin sensitivity. This is not a defect of the product, so please use it in a way that suits your skin condition.

4.     Can it be used on areas other than the neck?

While optimized for use on the neck, Degreve Neck Care can also be used on other areas as needed.

5.     Will there be skin problems when using the ThermoPad?

ThermoPad is made from medical-grade polyurethane, so it is safe to use without worrying about skin issues, and children can use it with peace of mind.

6.     When do frostbite symptoms occur?

Frostbite pre-symptoms can occur between 27°F  and 41°F (or -3°C and 5°C). Therefore, cooling with very cold ice can be quite dangerous.

7.     Why set at 57°F and 68°F (or 14°C/20°C)?

The cooling temperatures applied in Degreve Neck Care are verified for comfort and safety. The cervical spine at the back of the neck requires quick cooling due to frequent stress and heat, so 57°F or 14°C is used for effective cooling. For the carotid artery on the side of the neck, which is sensitive to temperature, 68°F is applied for safety and prolonged cooling.

Instructions and Precautions for Use

1. Keep the Super Chargers stored in the case when frozen, as dropping it may cause them to break.
2. Be careful not to excessively stretch the Thermo Pad or tear it by contacting sharp edges. 
3. If the coolant from the Super Chargers or Thermo Pad contacts the skin, wash the area immediately with water. 
4. Avoid placing excessive weight on or causing impact to the Thermo Pad and Super Charger.
